This month’s theme is “Like A Boss”. This month’s bag is one of my favorite Ipsy bags ever. It could easily be used as a clutch for a night out. I adore the texture and the blue interior.
The first product I got was the Smashbox Photo Finish Radiance Foundation Primer. I was very excited to see a product from Smashbox as they are a high end brand and cruelty free. This primer can double as a highlighter. It says it can to “hydrate, fill fine lines, and even out your skin”. The thing that I loved most about this primer was that when applied it left my skin glowing.
Next up is the Pix! By Petra #pixipretty. This is a blush & highlighter duo. The two are super silky powders that give cheeks a flawless, fresh finish. This is not tested on animals which is always a plus.
I am light to medium skin tone and these shades look beautiful on me. I love them. I am not great at highlighting but I use them as a blush and they look wonderful. Thanks for the perfect shades Ipsy!
Third, I got the Beauty For Real I-Line 24-7 Eyeliner in the shade “Champagne Buzz”. This definitely wasn’t the best Ipsy pick. I like that it goes on smooth, waterproof, and stays on for 24 hours.
I just really don’t look great in gold eyeliner shades. I gave this to my daughter. It was very smooth but I prefer brown or black. I usually use brown with my hazel eyes.
Next, I got this Neogen White Truffle Serum In Oil Drop. This serum is suppose to strengthen damaged skin, nourish, create a moist barrier, and brighten the skin. What I mostly loved about this oil was when I applied it to my skin and massaged it into my skin it left it soft and glowing. I have been using once daily on my elbows and I see a dramatic change.
Next up, is the Shu Uemura Anti-Oxi+ skin refining cleansing oil. This is a cleansing oil with enhanced power to remove micro impurities and stubborn make-up with no residue. The Anti/Oxi cleansing oil is brilliant! It smells lovely and left my skin feeling well balanced and refreshed. No irritations or bad reactions.
Lastly, I got the Ciate Wonderwand Mascara. This mascara is suppose to be intensely volumising and lengthening mascara. It is smudge proof. Which is wonderful because I have very dries due to having Lupus. It says it is suppose to also give your lashes 19 times more volume in three coats! I don’t think it did. I think I’m going to stick with my Maybelline Plumping Up Mascara.
