OwlCrate October 2017 Review: Find Me in the Forest

It’s that time again! Time for another OwlCrate review. My daughter received her October OwlCrate box. This month’s theme is Find Me in the Forest , and the box is filled with some haunted  goodies. There are items inspired by Harry Potter and more!

Owl Crate is a monthly subscription of books. Each OwlCrate contains one new Young Adult novel, as well as 3 to 5 other bookish items that all match with the monthly theme. My daughter loves reading and getting the cute items that go with her books each month. This really helps her discover new authors and find others books  to read.

OwlCrate always provides information cards. The information cards tell a little about all the items that are in that month’s box along with little comments on why they were selected. It is always decorated to go along with that month theme. My daughter doesn’t read it right away she likes to be surprised with what is in the box.

The book of the month uses a gorgeous and vivid color cover. In this case , Wild Beauty By Anna Marie McLemore. Here is a quick summary of the book  I found on Amazon.

“For nearly a century, the Nomeolvides women have tended the grounds of La Pradera, the lush estate gardens that enchant guests from around the world. They’ve also hidden a tragic legacy: if they fall in love too deeply, their lovers vanish. But then, after generations of vanishings, a strange boy appears in the gardens.

Included is these adorable magnetic bookmarks from Craftedvan. These are based off of the Where the Wild Things Are? They are not just adorable they are perfect to mark my place in my book. My daughter loves them. She started using them right away.

This Exclusive OwlCrate mug with artwork from Cara Kozik – This is the very first time that OwlCrate has ever sent a mug and it simply gorgeous. The artwork is so beautiful  and its so amazing that it includes multiple pictures so that you can see it all.  The design wraps around the mug and is based on the Forbidden Forest from the Harry Potter series. We start with a view of Hagrid’s cottage with Buckbeak in the pumpkin fields right next door. Hagrid’s cottage is right next to the forest so a great start.

You can use your adorable mug listed above to enjoy this wonderful loose tea from Riddle’s Tea Shoppe. It is inspired by Robin Hood and his Merry Men. If you are a tea drinker your gonna love it. It taste like blueberry pie.

What would go better with a adorable mug and loose leaf tea a new coaster by Kristen Askland.
